Honeysuckle Featured in Voyage Raleigh: A Story of Land, Community & Connection
We’re honored to share that Voyage Raleigh recently featured our co-founder, Svetlana Andrianova Fisher, in their Inspiring Conversations series — highlighting the story behind The Honeysuckle Tea House & Farm, our evolution, and the heart of what we do.
In the interview, Svetlana shares how she and her husband Jeff have nurtured Honeysuckle from its beginnings as an apothecary café into a working regenerative farm and event venue — a place where hospitality, sustainability, and community beautifully intertwine.
“What began as a place for tea has matured into a full expression of land stewardship, hospitality, and living economy,” Svetlana says. “We are blending farming, events, and farm-to-glass beverages in a way that celebrates the seasons and the people who gather here.”
The feature explores Honeysuckle’s journey — the grace and grit it’s taken to balance farming and hospitality, the incredible community support that has fueled each chapter, and the deep belief that every challenge is an opportunity to grow.
Svetlana also reflects on the future of agritourism, envisioning farms like Honeysuckle as spaces of reconnection in an increasingly digital world:
“As technology reshapes so many parts of daily life, the human need to slow down, feel the earth beneath our feet, and be part of something real will only grow stronger.”
At Honeysuckle, that spirit lives in every moment — whether you’re sipping tea beneath the vines, celebrating a wedding surrounded by the gardens, or simply pausing to watch the sun set over the fields. Each experience here is an invitation to be present, to reconnect with the land and one another.
We’re deeply grateful to Voyage Raleigh for sharing our story and helping us inspire others to live, gather, and grow in harmony with nature.
