Winter Mead Tasting with Starrlight Mead at Honeysuckle – A Cozy Evening on the Farm

As the winter season settles in and the farm grows quiet under its soft December glow, we invite you to step into the warmth of Honeysuckle for a very special evening: our Winter Mead Tasting with Starrlight Mead, happening Friday, December 12th from 6:00–8:30 PM.

This intimate experience brings together two things we love most—seasonal flavor and deep-rooted tradition. Mead, often called honeymoon wine, carries centuries of history within every sip, and with our friends at Starrlight Mead, a celebrated local meadery crafting award-winning honey wines, we’re thrilled to share this ancient craft with our community in a fresh, flavorful way.

Guests will enjoy a curated tasting of five handcrafted meads, each showcasing a different expression of honey, botanicals, fruit, and fermentation. From bright and floral pours to rich, spiced winter blends, every glass offers a glimpse into the artistry and care behind this historic beverage. Each tasting is paired with hearty seasonal appetizers—rustic bites, artisan cheeses, roasted vegetables, and winter-inspired flavors designed to complement the depth and nuance of the meads.

Throughout the evening, a mead expert from Starrlight Mead will guide guests through each pour, sharing stories of the bees, the botanicals, and the traditions that shape meadmaking. It’s a rare opportunity to learn directly from the makers while savoring the craft itself.

Set against the candlelit charm of the Tea House and the quiet magic of the winter farm, this cozy gathering promises warmth, connection, and a moment to slow down as the season begins. Whether you’re a longtime mead lover or new to the world of honey wines, the experience offers something memorable—new flavors to enjoy and a new appreciation for this age-old craft.

Tickets are limited to preserve an intimate atmosphere. Reserve your spot now under the “Experiences” tab on our website, and join us for an evening of winter celebration, community, and a very special taste of the season.
